Lior Gavriel Aviman, PhD

Chief Executive Officer

Lior Aviman is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation, Israel. As the leader of this new organization, established in 2024 by the Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation based in the United States, Dr. Aviman determines strategy, leads development, establishes programs, builds the culture, and works with the Governing and Advisory Boards.

Dr. Aviman has been an educator and philosopher throughout his life, with a deep understanding of the education system at the administrative, budgetary and organizational level. He is a specialist in differential teaching and has decades of experience working with at-risk youth. As one of the founders of the Hand in Hand Bilingual High School in Jerusalem, he is an expert in the field of Jewish-Arab relations.

After graduating from the Ben Gurion University and Oranim College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and philosophy, and a master’s degree in philosophy, Dr. Aviman serve in the Israeli Defense Forces as an Education and Information Officer as a Major in Reserve Duty, and later studied and taught at The Branco Weiss Institute for the Development of Thinking, and lead projects for the Hand in Hand Center for Jewish Arab Education in Israel He was Principle of the Branco Weiss dropout high school in Dimona, and Principal of the Ein Carmit boarding school in Ein Karem youth village. He was the principle of the Branco Weiss high school in Pardess Hanna and active as a mentor and a personal guide to high school principals, both Arabic and Jewish, in the AMAL Network of Education.

Dr. Aviman is a father of three kids, and lives in Charish in the northern part of Israel.
